Russel Brown Swensen (1902-1987) was a religious educator and historian in Utah. Hewas born 14 September 1902 in Pleasant Grove, Utah, to Swen Larsen Swensen and Susan Elizabeth Brown Swensen. He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 1922 to 1925.
